gkv Honored at Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival
gkv announced today that the agency was named on the shortlist (or a finalist) at the recent 2008 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival held in Cannes, France, for two TV spots created in 2007 for the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
More than 4,600 entries from agencies around the world were submitted to the film category of this prestigious advertising festival, now in its 55th year. Only 609 entries were named to the shortlist in a total of 31 different film categories.
gkv was the only mid-Atlantic-based agency to be named to this year's shortlist along with national and international advertising powerhouses such as Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett, among others.
